Welcome to Newcastle Law School

Newcastle Law School is based in the centre of a friendly and lively city in the North East of England, Newcastle upon Tyne. Our School is self-contained with a newly refurbished lecture theatre, student communal area and law library and has approximately 500 students and 25 full-time academics. Our location, facilities and size allows us to concentrate on delivering high quality teaching and research in a supportive and friendly environment.

Newcastle Law School is ranked 1st among UK Law Schools by the Sunday Times University Guide 2012, and has been ranked 1st among Russell Group Law Schools for student satisfaction (National Student Satisfaction Survey) for the past three consecutive years. Newcastle Law School has experience and expertise from around the globe with staff consisting of 12 nationalities.
