Law Facilities

We offer excellent, self-contained facilities and a place to 'belong'.

Easy access to everything you need

Students can easily access all our academic and support staff offices in the law school. The student common room provides a relaxed and informal space to meet and chat.

Our teaching accommodation is well equipped and comfortably furnished. It includes our own 279-seat lecture theatre.

Our mooting room is perfect for students to hone their advocacy skills.

The law school has extensive wi-fi provision and an IT cluster in the Law Library.

The Law Library

Our Law Library is within Newcastle Law School. A division of the University Library, it supports those researching and learning law. It offers print and online resources with support of dedicated library staff.

We expect Law students to make full use of this library and its resources. They also have use of the:

Computing

There are computer clusters across Newcastle University’s campus. There's one in our Law Library. You can locate a PC and check the availability via the free Newcastle University App.

Working off campus, you can access our IT facilities 24/7 with any internet connection.

You can connect your own laptop to Newcastle University’s wireless network on campus. All library sites also have laptops available to use within the building.

NUIT support is available 24/7.
