Dr Jonathan Galloway has been invited to become a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University School of Law to conduct research on international cooperation during multi-jurisdictional merger review. Dr Galloway is on sabbatical from January - June 2010 and will visit GW School of Law during April and May 2010.
The research project will involve a series of meetings with Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice officials, as well as leading academics - taking advantage of the depth of antitrust expertise within the George Washington University and Georgetown University Law Faculties. The research is partly funded by a Faculty research funding award of £2919. One of the research outputs will involve a contribution to Dr Galloway's research monograph entitled 'International Antitrust and Merger Control: Streamlining the Multi-Jurisdictional Process', under contract with Edward Elgar.
