Richard Collier has recently become Partner Investigator on a successful Australian Research Council Linkage Grant (2011-2014, $135,000) 'Balancing law and life' with Prof Margaret Thornton, Australian National University College of Law, a study exploring the implications of changes in the legal profession for understandings of work/life balance. This project draws on Richard's recent work on fatherhood, male lawyers and work-life balance in law and his 2010 book Men, Law and Gender.
