Professor Hilary Sommerlad, Leicester University will be delivering the second paper in the Law, Families, Personal Life: New Reflections seminar series entitled 'Whatever Happened to Work-Life Balance? The Casualisation of Legal Labour and the Impact on Personal Life' on 22nd November 2012
Prof Sommerlad is a leading writer in the sociology of the legal profession, who has written extensively on women in the legal profession and a wide range of other topics.
She is the author of several important studies on a range of issues around diversity, equality and access, including reports drawing on empirical studies which have shaped the debate about diversity and access.
