The secretarial team at Newcastle Law School have received the Newcastle University Spotlight Award in recognition of their continued hard work and dedication to the Law School.  The Law School secretaries receiving the reward are: Mrs Suzanne Johnson (School Administrator), Ms Gemma Hayton, Ms Jacqui Napier and Ms Joanne Pinnock. The secretarial team received particular praise for their willingness to ‘go the extra mile on behalf of the School’ and for demonstrating ‘exemplar behaviour and commitment'.

Head of Newcastle Law School, Professor Chris Rodgers says of the reward: “We are very pleased that the hard work and exemplary dedication of our secretarial support staff has been recognised. It is thoroughly deserved. Staff and students of the Law School know all too well how important our team of support staff are to the Law School but it is particularly pleasing to see that the hard work of our secretaries has been recognised outside the Law School”.
