Part of Law School Refurbishment Finished

This year’s first year law students at Newcastle Law School will, when they arrive for induction this week, be greeted by a fully refurbished Lecture Theatre. The Lecture Theatre has had its capacity increased so that it now seats 230 students and is now fitted with state-of-the-art audio systems. The refurbishment is part of a larger renovation of Newcastle Law School which will see the Law School transformed with a brand new entrance and reception area at what used to be the back entrance next to the Robinson Library.

Head of Newcastle Law School Professor Chris Rodgers said of the developments: “The renovations will fully integrate the Law School with the rest of the University campus and no doubt provide a better student experience. The Lecture Theatre now allows us to use high-tech facilities and we look very much forward to using it in the years to come.”
