Newcastle Law School has been consistently commended in learning and teaching quality assessments.
In 2002-03, the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) Teaching Quality Audit 'warmly commended' the Law School for the quality of our taught programmes and the self-critical and reflective practice of the staff.
Further formal University Learning and Teaching Reviews in 2008 and 2014, each with an external assessor, have confirmed that the Law School has improved on the very high level of provision identified by the HEFCE TQA in the last audit in 2003.
