Research Programme Funding

The LLM Environmental Law and Policy (Research) has been given ESRC recognition in the 2005 Recognition Exercise. Recognition extends to both full time and part time modes of study.

This means that we will be an approved outlet for students applying for ESRC doctoral funding under the "1 + 3" postgraduate funding arrangements operated by ESRC.

Bursaries may be available to students paying full overses fees who are self-financed. They take the form of a reduction in fees and no separate application is needed.

We offer teaching opportunities to graduate students wherever possible, normally during, and after your second year. We are also able to make small sums available for occasional assistance with tasks like library supervision, and preparation of manuscripts for publication.

There is more information on external sources of funding for research students on the University postgraduate pages.
