My research focuses on various aspects of environmental law including UK environmental law, international environmental law, European environmental law, human rights and environmental law, and environmental justice. A particular interest of mine is the theoretical base of environmental law.
International public law and human rights law.
My current work includes research into the topics of pragmatism and environmental law, sustainable development and justice, environmental law and human rights, human rights and climate change, and constitutional approaches to environmental law.
I am currently supervising research students researching management of common land and ecosystem services. I am interested in supervising research students in various aspects of environmental law. In particular the areas of environmental rights, environmental justice, climate change, and international environmental law.
