Current Work

I am currently preparing to submit my PhD thesis and preparing to publish an article on its conclusions, concerning the influence that post-2004 changes at the EU level of procurement regulation have had on domestic procurement regulation in the UK, the Netherlands and France.

Future Research

I will be examining the UK interpretation of "comprehensive sickness insurance" in the context of EU free movement of persons, and how this concept applies to the NHS.

I would be extremely interested in supervising any postgraduate research projects on national, EU or international public procurement regulation; I am also interested in projects on EU internal market law (particularly free movement of persons) and general regulatory theory.
