An important component of developing the international reach of PEALS work is through our participation in activities with other Centres and colleagues across the globe. Alongside these links we host and closely collaborate in a number of international research networks.
We are a collaborating partner in the Ethics of family in health and social care network and founded the Provision and Acquisition of Reproductive Tissue for Science (PARTS) International Research Network.
We have a formal Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre for Research Ethics and Bioethics, Uppsala, and contacts with other national and international research groups and consortia.
Individuals within PEALS also have established links with researchers and organizations around the world.
Links like these provide an important route for the dissemination of our work, extending its impact and influence well beyond Newcastle and the UK, and enable PEALS to contribute to high quality research around the world.
