Previously, Jonathan worked as a local government reporter for the Hartlepool Mail newspaper, breaking several international news stories including Peter Mandelson MP’s Ministerial resignations; the ghost ships scandal; and the election of Hartlepool’s monkey mayor!
Jonathan teaches on several PR theory and professional communications practice modules at the University of Newcastle, as well as modules exploring public affairs for journalists. He maintains practical and industry links by providing PR and communications consultancy for several North East business and organisations.
