We are delighted to announce that the fifth UK Energy Storage Conference (UKES2019) is taking place in Newcastle once again.  This year’s event will be hosted by Newcastle University School of Engineering at the University's Frederick Douglass Centre on Newcastle Helix.  Taking place on 3rd -5th September 2019, the event will bring over 300 energy storage experts to the region.

Annual conference

This is the second year that Newcastle University has hosted the conference. Last year’s event was held at the University’s Urban Sciences Building.  It was very successful and well attended, with over 250 UK and international delegates.  These included PhD students, early career and senior researchers from Industry, Academia, Research Institutes and Government.
