Vocational Impact is a charity focussed on connecting skilled volunteers to projects where they're needed. They specialise in providing transformative, skills-based global experiences for students studying Psychology, Law & Criminology. 

Type of experience: Skills-based volunteering, internships

Study level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate (students must have completed one year of study in a relevant field before taking part)

Duration: 2 - 8 weeks

Format: In-person

Where: Ghana, India, South Africa

Cost

Prices depend on the chosen country and duration, but range between £690 (2 weeks) - £2,000 (8 weeks)

The cost includes accommodation, meals, all in-country transport amongst other aspects!

  • Law and human rights (South Africa - 8 week internship only)

Accommodation 

Accommodation is included in the programme cost. Accommodation type depends on the location, but all options are safe, secure and designed to support students needs. Examples are shared apartments/cottages, homestays and hotels.

Experience overview

Typical days are varied and combine practical experience with community engagement. This includes working in clinical settings such as local hospitals or mental health services, and working in community settings delivering workshops and awareness sessions.
