Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI), one of the largest summer schools in Japan, brings together world-leading researchers with proven educational and research records, and provides educational courses in cooperation with the Hokkaido University (HU) faculty members.

Multiple dates throughout June, July & August.

Fees

All students must pay an application fee of 1,500 JPY (around £8)

Tuition depends on how many credits taken:

  • 1 course: 14,800 JPY (around £70)
  • 2 credits: 29,600JPY (around £139)

Accommodation 

Accommodation is the students responsibility to organise but Hokkaido have provided advice on this.

There are three application periods in which you can apply, we'd suggest applying early to ensure your chosen course is not full!
