Brazilian Seminars Summer Programme
The Brazilian Seminars Programme is an interdisciplinary program designed to give a broad perspective of Brazilian issues which are currently in the global scenario. You can also combine this with either 20 or 40 hour Portuguese Language programme.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible for this opportunity.
Dates
9th - 24th July 2026
There is an option to complete 20 hours of Portuguese language during the course or afterwards, from 27th - 31st July 2026.
Fees
R$8,800 (around £1,200) - inclusive of Newcastle partner discount.
Accommodation
Homestay with local families recommended by CCCI. PUC-Rio will act as a liaison to facilitate the introduction to your host family. The cost depends on your meal selection but ranges between R$2,500 - R$2,875 per month (around £340 - £397)
