Intensive Japanese Programme
The Rikkyo SIJP consists of Japanese classes including cultural activities, as well as optional social events and opportunities to meet Rikkyo home students! The programme is great for those with little or no experience of Japanese, as well as those at a more intermediate level.

Eligibility
Participants can apply even with little to no experience of Japanese. There are beginner and elementary classes available.
Dates
21st - 31st July (you must arrive by 20th July and can stay in the accommodation until 1st August)
Fees
- Tuition fee - 120,000 Yen (around £574)
- Accommodation fee - 154,000 Yen (around £737)
- Activity & Admin fee - 9,000 Yen & 37,000 Yen (£44 & £178)
- 320,000 Yen = ~£1,532
Accommodation
Accommodation is included within the programme price and is a single room in a hotel close to the programme location.

There are two application routes:
- If you are a Law student, please apply to Newcastle first using the below form. There is an opportunity for you to receive a tuition fee waiver for this programme (deadline 2nd April).
- If you are not a Law student, please apply directly to Rikkyo for your place (deadline 7th May).
