The Frontiers of Modern Physics Summer School invites second- and third-year Bachelor students from Europe and beyond to join this week of inspiration.

Duration: 1 week

Format: In-person

  • Quantum computation and communication
  • Physics of the living cell
  • Quantum transport in mesoscopic devices
  • Single molecule optics and electronics
  • Soft and active materials
  • Physics of metamaterials
  • Quantum microscopy

Eligibility

2nd and 3rd year UG students. The programme is intended for students considering Masters study

26th July - 2nd August

Fees

€390 (around £339) which includes:

  • tuition
  • accommodation
  • breakfast and lunch
  • social activities 

Note: Leiden do offer scholarships of up to €500, you can indicate this in your application.

Accommodation 

Accommodation is included in the price and is close to the campus. There are also bicycles for use.
