NCLA invites you to the launch of Heroes, a new poetry pamphlet by Christy Ducker, illustrated by Emma Holliday. The pamphlet is a response to heroes past and present, local and international. Emma's lino cuts will be on show at the launch.

The event also introduces North East Heroes, a creative writing and education project about heroes, built around Phyllis Christopher's archive photography. With a special guest appearance by Cuckoo Young Writers.
