We’re excited to announce that NCLA Research Associate, Theresa Muñoz, has been announced as a recipient of a Muriel Spark Centenary Award.
Theresa Muñoz is one of 12 recipients of the new prize, set up by Creative Scotland, as part of the centenary celebrations for Muriel Spark, one of Scotland’s finest and most internationally respected writers.
In a centenary year that looks to cement Spark's legacy, poet Theresa Muñoz, will explore the relationship between author, archive and legacy by writing a new poetry sequence to be published and performed. For inspiration, Theresa will be exploring Muriel Spark's extensive archive at the National Library of Scotland and will also be giving a workshop on poetry and archives later in the year.
