Our Master’s degrees are ‘laboratories of inquiry’ where experienced journalists, recent graduates, and people looking for a career change come to deepen their expertise and experiment with new forms of storytelling.

The programmes are practice-focused and theory-informed. You'll work alongside senior journalists from major international titles and collaborate with industry partners in projects like our Civic Journalism Lab.

Our students develop high-level skills in multimedia production while also advancing their theoretical and critical understanding of media in global contexts.

You can tailor your study towards professional practice or academic research, shaping a major project that reflects your own journalistic interests and career ambitions.

This flexibility prepares you to negotiate a rapidly-evolving industry, whether you're aiming for a senior media role, professional communication, or further doctoral study.
