Gain Fresh Insight from Postgraduate Talent

Partner with Newcastle University in Singapore and work with postgraduate students on a real-world project that delivers practical value to your organisation.

Students who are enrolled in our Master of Science (MSc) programmes must complete an Enterprise Project module.  We invite organisations operating in energy, sustainability, cybersecurity, business analytics, data science, and related sectors to propose projects for students enrolled in our MSc postgraduate courses.

Eligible Programmes

Students from the following programmes may undertake Enterprise Project module:

  • MSc Energy Management (Renewable Enterprise)
  • MSc Business Analytics (Sustainability)
  • MSc Energy Security

What is an Enterprise Project?

As a core component of their master's programme, students undertake a substantial Enterprise Project that addresses a genuine organisational challenge, opportunity, or area of interest.

The project provides organisations with the opportunity to collaborate with postgraduate talent while benefiting from academic expertise and supervision.

Over a period of approximately 30 weeks, students:

  • Work directly with the host organisation
  • Receive academic supervision and mentorship
  • Apply research and analytical skills to real-world challenges
  • Develop practical recommendations and deliverables

Project outcomes may include:

  • Research reports
  • Business cases
  • Strategic recommendations
  • Policy reviews
  • Process improvement proposals
  • Data analysis and insights

All projects are designed to create meaningful value while enhancing students' professional and academic development.

  • Product development business cases
  • Market research studies
  • Supply chain analysis
