Newcastle Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour Symposium

We are excited to invite you to take part in the Newcastle Brain, Cognition & Behaviour Symposium.

This symposium aims to connect early career researchers (ECRs) and technicians from across the NNND, MHDN, and BSP themes in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our goal is to create a space where people can share ideas, connect, and get to know what others are working on.

We are currently inviting speakers to contribute either:

  • Standard talks (12 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A), or
  • Lightning talks (5 minutes including Q&A)

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Chat about your research in a supportive environment
  • Get some practice and build confidence
  • Meet people outside your usual circles

In addition to these talks, the day will also include space for discussions around broader aspects of research culture, such as wellbeing and open research.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

If you are interested in attending or presenting, please sign up using the link below so we can learn more about you and your work by Monday, 11th May:
