The COVID Age event
The COVID Age
Book tickets for the launch of a new art exhibition and the premiere screening of 4 short films exploring the experiences of real people in Newcastle during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Created by North East filmmaker Danielle Giddins, the films and art deep dive into the experiences of primary school children, asylum seekers, vulnerable communities, care workers, and older adults during the last two years.
On the 23rd March, the anniversary of the first national lockdown, enjoy food, drinks, and chat as we come together to reflect on community, people, and the impact of the pandemic.
What did COVID-19 mean for Newcastle? How did the city react? What does the future look like for these communities?
This event will take place on Wednesday 23rd March 2022, 5-8pm at The Catalyst. A live-stream on Zoom will commence at 6pm for those unable to attend in person.
