Zeiss AxioVert 2 East Wing
Zeiss AxioVert 2 East Wing
Modalities: invert, widefield
Overview
The Zeiss AxioVert 2 offers two modes of observation, Brightfield transmitted light (phase & DIC) and Widefield fluorescence.
The Zeiss AxioVert 2 system utilises a monochrome imaging camera.
A range of fluorescent filters are available which cover the commonly used dyes:
- DAPI
- FITC
- TRITC and CY5
The illumination source is a HBO100 mercury arc lamp.
The microscope has a heated stage insert for live samples.
