The Centre runs a variety of activities throughout the year, including Weekly Research Meetings and Research Seminars presented by external speakers. We also organise conferences and workshops, both in Newcastle and at international conferences, and promote our research through the media and other activities for the public.
This year we are also running a series of events to celebrate Darwin 2009, which marks both the bicentennial anniversary of Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of 'On the Origin of Species'. Please see our Darwin 2009 section to find out more about these events.
