Deputy School Manager, School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics
I have been employed at Newcastle University since 2012 and joined the School of English in May 2014.
My particular focus is on the learning and teaching strategy; I develop and implement frameworks to support strategic planning, implementation and monitoring within the School. The team that I line manage enables high quality teaching, leads student experience initiatives, and supports student wellbeing across our UG, PGT and PGR provision.
Prior to working at the University I spent some time in the luxury retail market at Mulberry and also at Fenwick as Manager of the Designer Handbag Department. My Undergraduate degree is in Journalism and during my training I worked as a Broadcast Journalist at the BBC and ITV.
