COP26 UN Climate Change Conference UK 2021

Climate talks in the UK

On 1-12 November 2021, the eyes of the world were on the UK as the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) took place in Glasgow. The climate talks were the biggest international summit the UK has ever hosted, bringing together:

  • heads of state
  • climate experts
  • young people
  • civil society
  • trade unions
  • faith groups
  • indigenous peoples

Over two weeks, conference attendees worked to agree coordinated action to tackle climate change and protect the planet for future generations.

Our cultural and creative arts practitioners contributed to the climate change debate through creative writing, film, fine art, exhibitions and more. See some of the projects here
