Virtual Opportunities

Explore virtual exchanges and other online global opportunities.

Taking part in a virtual exchange or other online global activity is a great way to gain experience, develop skills and build a global network without leaving home.

  • Virtual opportunities often offer more flexibility: you can complete work from any location, around your studies and other commitments.
  • A great way to develop your independance and self-management skills, increasing organisational capabilities and knowing when to ask for help.
  • Allows you to develop your communication and collaboration skills, learning to connect with people from different backgrounds across different time zones and working patterns.
  • Helps you to broaden your horizons, develop a global outlook, build skills that employers value and become future-facing.

It was an incredible opportunity... I gained valuable skills in research, web mapping, and communication, and built meaningful professional connections.
