The PIVI facility is equipped with a high performance and resolution in vivo micro-CT system. The 1176 SkyScan system it offers a wide field of view, 9-micron resolution allowing full-body scanning for mice and rats or distal limb imaging for larger animals. The scanner provides flexibility with variable X-ray acceleration voltage and filters, making it suitable for imaging diverse samples, including soft tissue biological and material science samples.
