Wobble Week
Taking place on campus from Monday 10 to Friday 14 November 2025
What is Wobble Week?
University is exciting - new people, new places and new opportunities. But it can also feel a bit overwhelming at times.
You might be absolutely thriving and that’s brilliant! But you might also be missing home, finding your course challenging or just feeling a little off and that's OK too! However you're feeling, you're not alone.
Wobble Week is a dedicated time in the term when we shine a spotlight on the support available to you across the University. It’s here to remind you that it’s okay to wobble - and that help is always within reach.
This year, Wobble Week is taking place Monday 10 to Friday 14 November 2025.
What to expect?
Throughout the week, you’ll find a mix of events, activities and drop-ins happening across campus. Whether you want advice, connection or just a quiet moment, there’s something for you.
You’ll meet friendly staff, discover useful resources and find spaces where you can talk, reflect or simply take a break. It’s all about making sure you feel supported, seen and part of the university community.
So if you're wobbling, or just curious, come along! We’re here and ready to support you.

It helps provide an understanding of what is happening in the brain and body when we feel low. This wellbeing session will contain elements of psycho education and will be interactive and engaging. 12:00-13:00: 'Editing masterclass' - Your Skills session
Location: Online
This practical session will walk you through the editing process where you will review your assignment draft and identify any improvements you might make.
Who it’s for: This session is designed for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate taught (PGT) students who have a fairly complete assignment draft and are looking to develop this ahead of submission. During busy periods, it can be difficult to get a 1-1 appointment with the Academic Skills Team to review work ahead of deadlines. Editing masterclass thus covers the same material that an editing-focused 1-1 appointment would.
What it’ll cover: The session will introduce, and allow you to practice strategies to help review your structure and writing style, and to assess the level of criticality in your own work.
What you’ll need: The draft of the assignment you’re currently working on. The session will walk you through strategies that you can apply outside of the session but will also provide opportunities for you to do some editing in the session, too. If you’re working on more than one assignment, you may wish to bring one along to work on in the session and think about how you might apply the strategies to the others later on.
