Wellbeing support
Our resources page offers support and advice
Request wellbeing supportYou'll find our Student Wellbeing Advisers in your academic school. Because they're based here, they have a great understanding of your academic experience and expectations.
They provide a comprehensive listening and support service to give you the best opportunity to fulfil your potential and gain the most from your university experience. They can also signpost you to other support services such as our central Student Health and Wellbeing service or other external support agencies.
You can speak to a Student Wellbeing Adviser in-person or remotely - whatever suits you best. If you prefer to speak to them via email, you can do that too.
Should you need some quick advice and guidance on your best next steps to access support, we're here to help and point you in the right direction during our weekly drop-ins.
During term-time, you can find us in King's Gate on Tuesday mornings (11am to 1pm), and Thursday afternoons (1pm to 3pm). No appointment is needed, just check-in at the Level 1 Reception and a Student Wellbeing Adviser will be happy to speak with you.
Based on the Helix part of campus? We’ve got you covered! During term-time, our Student Wellbeing Advisers based at the Helix Site will also be available in the NUBS Café on Tuesday mornings (11am to 1pm), so just pop by with any quick wellbeing-related queries you may have.

The best support I had at university was from my Student Wellbeing Adviser. They gave me hope and direction, and most importantly, helped me feel ok talking about what I was going through.
