About Student Services

We provide information and support in an environment that's friendly, safe and relaxed.

Student Services aims to provide coordinated support and information from services working together.

Our range of services have been brought together into one location in King’s Gate, a dedicated student services building at the heart of campus.

Who can use Student Services?

Our services are for people thinking of university education, current students and our graduates.

If you are a prospective student, you can seek advice on applying to Newcastle, open days, accommodation and financial support.

If you are a current student, you can access information, support and guidance throughout your studies. The full range of services available to current students can be found on the Student Homepage.

After graduation you will be able to access further support with careers, and obtain documentation and verification of your study.

We also offer some services to our colleagues in the University and to external stakeholders such as our local landlords.

Who to contact

Your first point of contact is the Student Engagement Team.

The Student Engagement Team will be able to answer many of your questions directly and can signpost you to staff from specific services, if needed. They work closely with the staff from each service to enable them to support you.
