Translational Research Project Management Workshop

Translational Research Project Management Workshop

Research by its very nature requires an iterative project management approach – especially at the early stages of the discovery process. However, as the research moves from this phase towards translation different approaches to the project management process are required with more structure and process involved.

This workshop will explore how you shape your project management approaches throughout the research process – enabling you to pick approaches and tools which will work well at different stages of the project.

Within the workshop we will explore:
  • How to select from Agile and Waterfall management methods to align with the requirements of your research
  • Working effectively with external organisations as you move towards translation
  • Tools which you can use throughout the research process to ensure that the project management process is smooth and efficient.

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Robin Henderson who brings a detailed understanding of the UK Higher Education sector and the research landscape.

This in person full day workshop will be held on Tuesday 10th January 2023 in G21/22 Devonshire Building.
