Led by Jordan Aikin, this electrifying ensemble pushes contemporary folk music into new territory.  Their music fuses the drive of bass, drums, and guitar with the distinct voices of pipes, accordion and whistle, creating bold textures and rhythmic energy. Rooted in traditional melody by shaped by modern ensemble writing, their sound is both immersive and inventive, offering a fresh take on folk music for today's audiences.
