Ruth Lyon, a potent singer-songwriter from Newcastle, weaves deeply evocative narratives and meditations, with an artistry that balances delicacy and strength, combining analogue 
textures and angular indie-folk sensibilities. Forged by personal experience, she explores the beautiful mess of being human, challenges social norms and ignites a journey towards self
acceptance, and empowerment. In this performance Ruth will be presenting works from her 2025 album Poems & Non-Fiction.
