If you're coming to a Post-Application Visit Day make sure you book a talk or tour to find out what living with us will really be like. If you can't make a Visit Day, you can take a student led virtual tour of some of our rooms.
Get a feel for our undergraduate accommodation by taking a tour. You'll walk to the accommodation site with a current student and then a resident will show you their room and the facilities.
The majority of residences are within a 10 minute walk from the heart of campus. Depending on the residence you'd like to visit, tours can take from 30 minutes to one hour. Tours run from November to May.
Your selected tour will take place in a flat or on a corridor that is currently occupied and the Accommodation Tours Room Guide has agreed to open their room to visitors. However, whilst the room guide will be prepared for your visit, we cannot guarantee that their fellow roommates will be. Therefore please expect any shared communal spaces to be lived in!
Our accommodation talks run from February to April. They are hosted on campus, with a duration of roughly one hour, and will provide a comprehensive overview of the different types of accommodation that we offer at Newcastle University, including tips on things to consider when choosing accommodation, and information about the application process.
