Newcastle University was awarded a Cancer Imaging Programme by the CRUK/EPSRC/MRC Funding Call. Members of the Centre are involved in developing pre-clinical contrast media for work on our small bore MRI system (see Research Plans for Pre-Clinical MR Research)
Clinical studies arising from the Imaging Programme and from collaborations with the Newcastle University Northern Institute for Cancer Research are performed at the Centre.
