Fraser Kennedy, Performance Sport Manager, Newcastle University, said: “Following on from coming out of Covid, I am amazed at the level of achievements everyone involved in performance sport is doing this academic year. We worked really hard to ensure we were ready and it’s a testament to our students athletes, coaches and support staff, and also our academic schools who help me to support our athletes and their availability.

“We are set to have our best season to date and continue to be one of the leading universities in HE for sport.”
