Ishan Aggarwal was the lucky winner of our Summer Health Challenge.

Ishan Aggarwal, lucky winner of our Summer Health Challenge, collects his prize. He won a trip for two to Amsterdam courtesy of DFDS Seaways.
Ishan has started his second year of study on the BSc Mathematics and Economics course here at Newcastle. At the Sports Centre, he enjoys football, fitness and weight training in the gym, and the occasional boxing session.
During summer vacation, Ishan went to Uganda with East African Playgrounds. He helped build a playground for Nakanyoni primary school. He trekked through the Ugandan forest to see some silverback gorillas.
Ishan also enjoyed inter-railing in Europe to cities including Paris, Milan, Budapest, Prague, and Berlin.
Ishan is looking forward to his trip to Amsterdam. He says "I'm most looking forward to getting my picture taken with the Amsterdam sign. I'm also keen on visiting the house of Anne Frank. I think the mini-cruise will be very enjoyable".
Sport and Recreation Officer James Hankinson presented the prize to Ishan.
