Partnering with local award-winning organisation Triple A Food Tours, we’re excited to offer graduates returning to Newcastle for our Alumni Re-Fresher Weekend a different way to reconnect with the city – through their tastebuds!
From the freshly caught oysters of the Lindisfarne Islands, to the hustle and bustle of our famous flagship store, Fenwick food hall, join our professional and friendly tour guides for a journey like no other.
Soak up the atmosphere of our buzzing city centre and see how things have changed since your student days. Discover the history, culture and taste of Newcastle.
What to expect
You will be met on campus by one of Triple A Food’s tour guides, who will escort you through the city on foot to a number of delicious eateries where you can sample their menu and tickle the tastebuds!
All food and drinks are included in the price, which is £60pp. The food tour takes approximately 3 hours and you will visit at least 3 venues. These include:
- Fenwick Food Hall
- Blackfriars
- Kaltur
(Please note these venues are subject to change)
Because light walking is required, Triple A Food Tours do recommend that you wear sensible footwear and attire.
How to book
To register your place, please complete the Alumni Re-Fresher Weekend booking form
Once registered, please send £60pp via PayPal to info@tripleafoodtours.com using reference: NCL Tour, followed by your full name(s)
Triple A Food Tours will then issue a receipt/confirmation of payment once they have received the funds.
Please note, your place will NOT be confirmed until the payment has been made and a receipt issued.
