Build confidence in, and take ownership of, your visual impairment in the graduate recruitment process.

Visually Prepared is an interactive virtual 1-hour workshop for any blind or partially sighted student or recent graduate. The session, led by Blind in Business, will help you build confidence in, and take ownership of, your visual impairment in the graduate recruitment process, and will cover:

•    Being open about your disability: Should you talk about it with an employer, and can it be an advantage? 
•    Making the most of accessible internships and work experience
•    Reasonable adjustments and Access to Work
•    Building your network and playing the game
•    Are employers really disability confident? 

Following this workshop there will be the opportunity to book a follow up appointment with Blind in Business should you want to discuss your individual circumstances.

This session is delivered by Blind in Business as part of a University collaboration.  There will be students attending from other universities.
