What you'll discover

Meet real researchers doing meaningful work
Hear from current PhD students tackling climate challenges — from renewable energy systems to sustainable technologies. Find out how they got started (spoiler: many weren't sure at first either).

Get your questions answered
What does a PhD actually involve? How do you get funded? What's daily life like? Chat informally with students and staff over lunch — no question is too basic.

Explore fully funded opportunities
Learn about PhD positions starting October 2026. Yes, fully funded — tuition, living costs, and training included. No prior research experience required.

This is for you if...

  • You have finished your undergraduate or master's degree and want to know more about what a PhD involves
  • You are thinking about what’s next, or are exploring your next steps while working
