Oncology Research

Newcastle University was awarded a Cancer Imaging Programme by the CRUK/EPSRC/MRC funding call.


Clinical studies arising from the Imaging Programme and from collaborations with the Northern Institute for Cancer Research are performed at the Centre.

Members of the Centre are involved in developing pre-clinical contrast media for work on our small bore MRI system.
