Join us to explore the progress and discoveries that are leading the way in childhood cancer research at Newcastle University.
Our friends at Children's Cancer North are organising an in-person showcase to highlight the cutting-edge genetics research into childhood cancer taking place right now on our campus.
Expect high-impact talks, lab tour opportunities, and a chance to meet the amazing researchers who are pushing the boundaries of childhood cancer research to make treatments kinder and more specific, with the ultimate goal of curing this indiscriminate disease.
There will also be interactive activities that make learning about genetics and childhood cancer engaging and accessible for everyone.
The event is open to adults, young people, and children, and it will be a relaxed, interactive and informative session. For younger visitors, we have a special Young Scientists’ Zone staffed by the Newcastle University research team. Lab tours are open to adults and young people over the age of 16.
