The Design Your Own Future project is exploring the activity of MakerSpaces and FabLabs (workshops for sharing design and fabrication tools and technologies). The project aims to develop web-based platforms to allow such small community run initiatives to productively collaborate with industrial partners for mutual benefit, skill and knowledge sharing, actively supporting processes of 'Open Design' in industry. The project is partnering with Axivity and Jaguar Land Rover.
