Nida is a PhD fellow in Computer Science at Newcastle University, with a research focus on computational neurology and neuroimaging. Her current work integrates statistical methods to advance the analysis of neuroimaging modalities such as MRI, aiming to uncover deeper insights into neurological and psychiatric disorders.
She holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Northumbria University, where her dissertation focused on epileptic seizure detection using EEG signals. Prior to that, she completed MPhil in Computer Science at the University of Southern Punjab (USP), Pakistan. She holds a Bachelors of Computer Science (BSCS) from COMSATS University, Pakistan.
Nida’s teaching experience includes her role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Newcastle University, where she supports undergraduate and masters modules and student learning in computer science and data analysis. She worked as a Research Assistant at Computational Neurology, Neuroscience & Psychiatry (CNNP) lab , contributing to interdisciplinary projects involving computational neurology.
