About Newcastle University Policy Academy

Newcastle University Policy Academy provides skills development for all staff and our post-graduates. They learn how to engage with policymakers, expand their networks and increase their impact.

Join the growing community:

  • coming together for interdisciplinary sessions
  • exploring opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally

The Academy offers a range of training via one-day Foundation Workshops and our Fellows Programme, including:

  • introduction to Westminster
  • devolved government
  • global reach
  • policy and media
  • research-to-policy case studies

Meet a wide range of experts including:

  • ex-special advisers
  • government ministers
  • civil servants
  • journalists
  • charities and policy institutions
  • our own internal experts.
