Carlton Lodge, a four storey property, is situated in close proximity to the University library, campus and a five minute walk to the city centre offering shops, bars, restaurants and leisure facilities. Previously the University’s Employees Club, the accommodation has recently been refurbished to an extremely high standard. There are two ground floor rooms suitable for guests requiring wheelchair access. Rooms are spread over four floors with no lift service.
Communal kitchens situated on the ground and second floors have a dining table and chairs, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. There is a washer/dryer in one of the kitchens for the use of all guests. Crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment is supplied.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each bedroom, which also have a wardrobe, drawers, bedside table, desk, chair, easy chair and king size bed.
Rooms are suitable for single guests and couples or twins and different rates apply.
